WINSTON-SALEM, NC — The Jugo Bar is preparing to open its first street-level retail location at 411 W 4th St #141, Winston-Salem, NC 27101. Owner William Fulton told Business Debut the business is about 85% ready and working through final inspections before opening.

The company has operated from the same address in a production and wholesale capacity for the past several years and will now bring direct retail service to customers in its hometown.

What to Expect

The Jugo Bar’s retail space will offer both bottled products and drinks made fresh on-site. Fulton told Business Debut customers can expect juices made to order, smoothies, smoothie bowls, algae-based offerings, and South African rooibos teas. The concept goes beyond a typical grab-and-go juice bar.

Fulton said the roughly 3,000-square-foot space is designed as a place where guests can sit with tea or juice, read, work, and meet. He said the store will also include two meeting rooms that can seat about eight people each.

“I have over 153 flavor profiles,” Fulton told Business Debut, adding that he plans to rotate flavors weekly to create “a taste and experience for the community.”

Fulton said the goal is to give customers what he described as “a raw or pure product,” whether they are picking up a bottled juice or ordering one prepared on the spot. He also said the store is expected to introduce additional products that have not previously been available through the brand’s wholesale distribution.

Opening Timeline

An opening date has not been announced. Fulton told Business Debut the team has a few items left to complete and is waiting on inspections before the retail location debuts.

Hours

The Jugo Bar plans to operate from 8 a.m.—8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Fulton said the business expects to be closed on Sundays and Mondays.
