The Corner Perk Opening in Barnesville in Mid July
The mother-daughter business will offer a cozy coffee shop to downtown Barnesville.

The Corner Perk, opening at 105 Main St, Barnesville, GA 30204, is set to introduce a welcoming gathering space in downtown Barnesville. Established by Tristan Burns and her mother, Elissa Warburton, The Corner Perk will open in mid-July with a heartfelt mission to create a safe and nurturing environment for the community.
The café will operate from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and will boast a cozy atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. One highlight is a signature lounge chair, modeled after the famous couch from coffee shop in the show Friends.
Tristan, inspired by her experience in hospitality at a bed and breakfast in Florida, returned home eager to create a beloved community space. This inspiration led her and her mother to rent the Main Street building on a leap of faith, sowing the seeds for what is now a The Corner Perk.
At the business, patrons will be able to indulge in a selection of specialty coffees, espresso drinks, sweet treats, daily soups, sandwiches, baked goods, and house-made oat and almond milk. Merchandise such as Corner Perk T-shirts and caps will be available for purchase to express support for the café.
The Corner Perk aims to be a beacon of community spirit, offering drinks and pastries, an atmosphere rooted in faith, and a sense of belonging. Tristan remarked, “I immediately realized [the business] was destined to be a coffee shop, a place where people feel safe and loved.” A Christ follower, Tristan intends to offer a delightful snacks, caffeine, and help spread the gospel message in her business.
