DULUTH, GA - A new addition to the local food and beverage scene is on the way as The Bep Teahouse prepares to open its second franchise location in Duluth under Hugh Do's franchise ownership. Located at 2180 Pleasant Hill Rd, Duluth, GA 30096, an opening date has not yet been announced, but the team plans to launch after remodeling is complete.

Do told Business Debut that the new spot will expand upon their successful Johns Creek location, offering not only tea and boba drinks but also a wider selection of food and snacks.

A Full Menu Experience

The Duluth location will stand out with its full kitchen, something not commonly found in tea shops or their Johns Creek location. Guests can expect a variety of snacks, including popcorn chicken, bánh mì sandwiches, bakery items, and more. Alongside a massive drink menu of 100+ teas, smoothies, slushies, and coconut-based beverages.

“We’ll have something for everyone,” Do said. “If someone doesn’t like tea or boba, that’s okay, we’ve got tons of options.”

Customers will also be able to customize their drinks, from organic ingredients to sugar level adjustments, making it easy to find a flavor that fits any preference.

Opening Hours

The Duluth location's opening hours will mirror their Johns Creek shop, with weekdays open until 11 p.m. and weekends extending past midnight.

“Given the energy and nightlife in Duluth, we want to keep the shop open later so families and friends have a place to hang out,” Do explained.

A Growing Family Venture

For Do and his wife, who is Vietnamese, The Bep Teahouse is more than a business; it’s about sharing culture and creating community spaces. Their first location, which was opened last year, quickly became involved with local schools and sports sponsorships, and they plan to bring the same spirit of community involvement to Duluth.

“I don’t have a restaurant background; I worked in finance,” Do said. “But my wife and I love boba tea, and we really wanted to open up something and have it kind of also represent our culture and a family-friendly place.”

The business itself is under Duluth DILH LLC, is a family affair named after the couple’s children. Their 10-year-old son even helps with the POS system.
