Tex-Mex Restaurant Opens in Brevard
Tipsy Taco brings a full-service Tex-Mex restaurant and bar to Brevard.
BREVARD, NC — Tipsy Taco officially opened on February 23rd at 29 W French Broad St Unit 101, Brevard, NC 28712, marking the brand’s eighth location overall and its second in Western North Carolina.
Brand representative Frank Roman told Business Debut the Brevard restaurant follows the company’s Hendersonville opening last year, with additional expansion planned across the region.
What to Expect
Tipsy Taco is a full-service Tex-Mex restaurant with a bar, offering a casual, family-friendly atmosphere. Roman described the concept as a “fun family atmosphere,” built around approachable Tex-Mex favorites and a lively dining experience.
The Brevard location features approximately 40 tables and operates seven days a week. Guests can expect a traditional sit-down service model with a full bar program.
The brand is based in South Carolina and continues to grow throughout both North and South Carolina.
Menu and Vision
Tipsy Taco’s menu centers on classic Tex-Mex fare, paired with a full bar selection. While specific menu items were not detailed, the concept follows the brand’s established format across its existing locations.
Roman said the company is actively exploring additional growth opportunities, with Waynesville potentially next on the horizon. “We’ll keep going,” he told Business Debut.
The company is also continuing to look for new sites in South Carolina.
Opening Timeline
The Brevard location opened today following a soft opening earlier in the day.
Hours
Tipsy Taco is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
The restaurant plans to launch weekend brunch in March, opening one hour earlier on Saturdays and Sundays.
