DUNN, NC — Tavern 312, a new bar from owner James Hollifield, soft opened last weekend at 312 East Broad Street, Dunn, NC 28334, with a grand opening planned in approximately 30 days, Hollifield told Business Debut.
What to Expect
Tavern 312 offers a laid-back bar environment focused on drinks, games, and socializing. Hollifield said the concept will rely on food trucks to serve food to his guests while he provides the drinks.
The space features two pool tables, arcade-style games, and a golf machine, creating a casual atmosphere designed for everyday gatherings. “I kind of just want somewhere to when you go in, you feel comfortable, you hang out,” Hollifield told Business Debut.
Menu and Vision
The bar serves a range of mixed drinks, beer, and wine. Hollifield said the goal is to create a relaxed setting with easy listening music and a balanced environment that avoids becoming overly rowdy.
“It’s just a laid back little bar,” Hollifield told Business Debut.
The concept mirrors Hollifield’s existing bar, The Grove 2.0 in Garner, with a similar approach to atmosphere and offerings.
Opening Timeline
The team is soft opening this to test operations, followed by a grand opening approximately 30 days later.
Hours
Tavern 312 plans to operate seven days a week, with hours set for Sunday and Monday from 12 p.m. — 9 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday from 12 p.m. — 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 12 p.m. — 2 a.m.
