A new concept restaurant, Sipping Station, is coming to downtown Miami at 550 NW 1st Ave, 240 c9, Miami, FL 33136, inside the food court of the Brightline station at Miami Central. Owner Matthieu Yamoum, a longtime restaurateur, told Business Debut that they are a few weeks away from opening. “We’re just a few weeks away,” Yamoum said. “The space is ready, and we’re finalizing the last admin stuff. We’re excited to bring something special to this unique location.”

Sipping Station is a fast-casual restaurant where customers can enjoy food and wine in a curated, premium vibe for residents and tourists. The idea comes from European food markets like Barcelona's Boqueria. The restaurant will serve various high-quality Spanish tapas suitable for wine pairing.

While the space is located in a communal dining area, Sipping Station has its own bar with 16–20 seats and an extended open seating area that accommodates 30–40 people. The bar is surrounded by up to ten TVs showing sports and big events to create a more lively and welcoming atmosphere with daily opening from 11 am–9 or 10 pm. A private room is also available if the guest wants to have more privacy and a personalized dining experience. “It seats up to 14 and is surrounded by windows with a full 360-degree view. It’s very cool.,” Yamoum added.

The menu is still being finalized with input from chefs and will soon lock in the wine pairings to match. While food and beverage lineup will focus on quick yet refined experiences. Just think of a glass of high-quality wine and a bite of caviar toast for around $30. “We want to offer quick, quality, and affordability,” said Yamoum. “Less sometimes. So we want to keep it low and we want to keep it busy.”

Yamoum, who has been in the New York restaurant industry since 2010 and also co-founded Maison Mura, a wine store located downtown in Miami, is teaming up with Mario Maar, co-founder of Chevre on Coral Way, for this new venture. Chevre is known for its imported meats, cheeses, and viral Basque cheesecakes, including espresso bean and Ferrero Rocher flavors. The duo plans to feature Chevre’s exclusive Golden Goat caviar in several food offerings.
