Taiwanese Fried Chicken And Coffee Concept Opening in Alpharetta
Java Saga is expanding with a new Alpharetta location in spring 2026.
ALPHARETTA, GA — Java Saga, the Taiwanese fried chicken and coffee concept from co-owner Amy Lee, is expanding with a new location planned for 2905 Jordan Ct, Suite H, Alpharetta, GA 30004.
Lee told Business Debut the team is targeting an opening in the first or second quarter of 2026, following some construction delays.
What to Expect
The Alpharetta store will follow the same fast-casual format as the original Atlanta location, seating about 40 guests. The menu will center on Taiwanese-style fried chicken sandwiches, paired with coffee and tea. Guests can also expect a selection of smoothies, limited bubble teas, and a small offering of Taiwanese beers.

History and Menu
Java Saga began as a coffee and food trailer in 2017 before evolving into a brick-and-mortar location on Buford Highway.
“Traditionally Taiwanese fried chicken is a cutlet, but we made it into a sandwich,” Lee told Business Debut. The menu also includes a Taiwanese hot chicken with three heat levels, highlighting the brand’s Taiwanese-American fusion style.
The shop exclusively serves coffee from local roaster Cloudland Coffee, also based in Alpharetta.
Java Saga’s roots trace back to Sun’s family traditions. His mother sold Taiwanese-style chicken nuggets and bubble tea at Chinese New Year festivals in Chamblee during the 1990s and early 2000s, inspiring his interest in the cuisine.
“We built our following from a small pickup window just before COVID started,” Sun told Business Debut. “That experience helped us grow into a full restaurant concept.”
Opening Timeline
The Alpharetta location is targeting a spring 2026 opening, marking Java Saga’s second restaurant following its Buford Highway store.
Hours
Tentative hours will match the current Atlanta location:
