Sunshine City Tavern Bringing Vibrant 90’s Vibes to St. Petersburg
Smoked barbecue, craft cocktails, and 90's nostalgia await when Sunshine City Tavern opens in St. Petersburg early next year.
Sunshine City Tavern, the latest venture from Chef Ted Dorsey and fellow restaurant veteran Teddy Skiadiotis, is set to open in St. Petersburg early next year, Chef Dorsey shared with Business Debut.
Located at 4351 4th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33703, the tavern is expected to open in January, Chef Dorsey said. The atmosphere will be inspired by Dorsey’s memories of St. Pete in the 1990's, featuring bright, loud, neon colors and a lively atmosphere.
The restaurant will seat 160 guests indoors, with an additional 45-50 seats outdoors. The full menu will remain under wraps until the grand opening, Chef Dorsey told Business Debut. St. Pete Rising reported that smoked barbecue will be part of the offerings.
The bar program will spotlight craft cocktails and local brews, focusing on reinventing classics.
