TALLAHASSEE, FL — Sunny Mornings Cafe is targeting a late March opening at 832 W Tharpe St, Tallahassee, FL 32303, ownership told Business Debut. The tentative opening date is March 27, pending final permitting approvals.
What to Expect
Sunny Mornings Cafe will be a full-service, sit-down restaurant offering a mix of Mexican and American breakfast dishes. The concept focuses on a homemade approach, with traditional recipes prepared from scratch.
The restaurant will have seating for approximately 80 guests, with a smaller indoor dining room complemented by a larger outdoor patio space. Ownership described the setting as relaxed, with a patio that offers an open and comfortable environment.
Menu and Vision
Guests can expect a menu that blends authentic Mexican breakfast dishes with classic American favorites. Mexican offerings will include items like chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, and enchiladas, while American staples such as pancakes, omelets, and breakfast platters will also be available.
“Our focus will be homemade… we want to make sure that people can taste the actual traditional Mexican food,” ownership told Business Debut.
Ownership added that the concept is designed to give guests flexibility. “We’re excited to see how people would like the mix… now you get to pick whichever you like,” ownership told Business Debut.
The cafe is a family and friends locally owned business, with a team that brings more than a decade of combined restaurant industry experience.
