Sugar Hi Bringing Custom Cakes and Sweet Treats to Boca Raton
Opening in August or September, this custom cake shop will also serve sweets, frozen yogurt, and host kids' parties.
The second location for the New York-born Sugar Hi is opening soon in Boca Raton, co-owner of the South Florida location Dennis Seff told Business Debut. The custom cake shop, café, and sweets store is planning to open at 3011 Yamato Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33496.
This is the brand’s first expansion from its roots in Armonk, NY, where sisters Hillary Assael and Elissa Weinhof opened in 2017.
The brand is known for making signature and custom cakes, along with cupcakes, cookies, and other baked goods. It also sells candy, chocolates, ice cream, frozen yogurt, and is a popular spot for hosting children’s birthday parties.
In Boca, they will have nearly 3,000 square feet and seating for approximately 30 guests.
Seff decided to bring the brand down to Boca after moving to the area and seeing a gap in the market that Sugar Hi filled back home for custom cakes, birthday parties and sweets.
Now, they are amidst their buildout and plan to open in September.
