Subs and Ice Cream Coming to Cochran This November

COCHRAN, GA — Frostbite Ice Cream & Subs, an exciting new full-service restaurant offering both subs and ice cream, is preparing to open at 119-C North Second Street, Cochran, GA 31014. Owner Mark Waterman shared with Business Debut that the team is targeting an opening between November 15th and December 1st.

What to Expect

Guests can anticipate a walk-in or dine-in experience with seating for about 40 guests across 15 tables. The menu at Frostbite will feature a variety of hot and cold subs, along with hard and soft serve ice cream, cookies, chips, and fountain drinks. Waterman told Business Debut the shop’s focus is on subs that are “loaded down”. They will be piled thick with meats and cheeses so guests feel they’re getting a full, hearty meal.

Menu and Vision

Co-owners Mark Waterman and Cynthia Steingrabe are focusing on delivering both quality and value. Waterman emphasized, “We think a good selling sub holds a lot of meat. You’re paying your hard-earned money, so you get what you pay for.” The duo is also designing a dedicated party room for children’s birthdays and community events in the adjacent section of their 2,100-square-foot building.

Waterman, a former automotive technician and shop owner from Florida, turned to the food service industry after deciding retirement wasn’t for him. “I got tired of being retired,” he told Business Debut. “So here we go.”

Frostbite Ice Cream & Subs is targeting an opening between November 15th and December 1st.

Hours

Planned hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Final hours are still being determined.
