The Steel Chef's Market food hall is continuing to make progress on International Drive, owner and developer Micah Bass told Business Debut. Steel Chef's Market will be a multi-level food hall made of shipping containers. The compound will feature 14 separate food vendors and a bar.

Bass, who has been working on Steel Chef's Market for several years, expects to have their building permit issued by the end of the year. Once the permit is issued, he estimates nine months of construction before opening. The address for Steel Chef's Market will be 7200 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819.

Once construction is underway, Bass will bring in a management company to run the concept and select vendors.

In addition to the 14 vendors and a central bar, the concept will have an exhibition kitchen where guests can watch food be prepared.

Keep an eye out for Steel Chef's Market to open in the next year or so.
