ATLANTA, GA — Spice, the contemporary global fusion restaurant founded by Nana Atakora-Bediako and his brother Baff Atakora-Bediako, is preparing to open a new location at 1230 W Peachtree St NW Suite 130, Atlanta, GA 30309. The restaurant is targeting an April opening in Midtown, Atakora-Bediako told Business Debut.

The Atlanta restaurant will mark an expansion of the brand following the success of its original location in Charlotte.

What to Expect

Spice will bring its contemporary global fusion concept to Midtown with a design-forward dining space intended for social occasions such as date nights, birthdays, and girls’ nights out.

The restaurant will feature a dark, moody interior, along with a variety of seating styles and a private dining room. The Atlanta location will seat approximately 140 guests.

Ownership describes the new restaurant as an elevated version of the Charlotte location, with a larger footprint and additional design elements.

The menu will follow the global fusion direction established in Charlotte. The concept blends flavors and inspirations from multiple cuisines while presenting dishes in a contemporary restaurant setting.

“We’re trying to bring something new to Midtown that’s not quite here yet,” Atakora-Bediako told Business Debut.

Opening Timeline

Spice is targeting an April opening as construction and final preparations wrap up at the Midtown space.

The Atlanta location represents the next step in the brand’s growth following the Charlotte restaurant, with ownership expressing plans to continue expanding the concept in larger markets.

Hours

Dinner service six days a week; Spice will be closed on Mondays.
