Smokin’ T’s BBQ, a barbecue food truck originally from Ohio, is set to begin operations in Florida. Owner and veteran Troy McElwee shared with Business Debut that he brought the truck to Florida and served 500 free meals to hurricane victims and decided to leave it down here to expand the business.

Since its inception, Smokin’ T’s BBQ has operated with a philanthropic purpose, with all proceeds supporting Link 22, McElwee's nonprofit dedicated to combating veteran suicide and aiding veterans in their transition to civilian life.
