SKOL Brewing Company Adding 30,000 SF Gaming Lounge in Downtown

The Nordic-themed concept is expanding as a full-blown eatertainment venue in downtown.

ATLANTA, GA — SKOL Brewing Company, the Nordic-themed brewpub located at 155 Carnegie Way NW, Atlanta, GA 30303, is expanding its footprint in Downtown Atlanta with a large-scale addition set to open in May.

The concept, led by Gray Lane and Drew Tull, has operated since 2025.

What to Expect

The expansion will add approximately 30,000 square feet to the existing 5,000-square-foot brewery. The new addition, Valhalla Gaming Lounge, will introduce a range of entertainment-focused experiences.

Guests can expect more than 40 gaming options, including golf simulators, arcade games, billiards, darts, bocce, and interactive sports experiences. The space will also include areas for live music, large-format TVs, and private events, positioning the venue as a full-scale entertainment destination.

“It'll be pretty incredible… darts, bocce ball, just all kinds of stuff and it'll be huge,” Lane told Business Debut.

SKOL Brewing Company will expand its food and beverage capabilities with the new space, adding a new commercial kitchen to support the entire venue.

The brewery currently offers a mix of Nordic-inspired and Southern-influenced dishes, including items like Ellsworth Creamery cheese curds, smoked brisket poutine, and the “Jucy Lucy” burger. The menu also includes a wide range of options beyond traditional bar fare, alongside nearly 20 house-brewed beers such as Northern Lights Lager, Space Wrangler Hazy IPA, and SKOL Nation Cold IPA.

Ownership and Vision

Gray Lane and Drew Tull launched SKOL Brewing Company after developing the Nordic-themed concept inspired by Tull’s Minnesota roots. The business opened in 2025 and quickly established itself as a destination for both local patrons and event-driven crowds.

“SKOL and Valhalla Gaming Lounge are designed to not only showcase Atlanta to out-of-town guests and conventioneers, but to create a destination for everyone,” Lane and Tull shared.

Opening Timeline

Construction on the expansion is underway with multiple contractors working on the buildout, including the kitchen and gaming areas. The team is targeting a full opening of Valhalla Gaming Lounge in May.

Hours

SKOL Brewing Company is currently open seven days a week, opening at 4 p.m. on weekdays and at noon on weekends. The team plans to expand hours following the World Cup, with a target schedule of 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily.
