Sistas Place Soul Food Bistro Coming to Middleburg FL
Southern comfort favorites like potatoes, fried chicken, and brunch dishes will anchor the menu at this upcoming Middleburg bistro.
MIDDLEBURG, FL- Sistas Place, a new southern soul food bistro from Nikki Lawson, is targeting a Memorial Day weekend opening at 2475 Blanding Blvd Unit 6, Middleburg, FL 32068. Lawson told Business Debut the concept will combine comfort food, indoor dining, and event hosting under one roof.
What to Expect
Sistas Place will operate as a fast casual restaurant with indoor seating for about 40 guests, with capacity to accommodate up to 55. The space will also function as a private venue, allowing guests to reserve the entire restaurant for events such as baby showers, bridal teas, and birthday dinners with a four-hour block.
Lawson said the restaurant will also offer full-service catering for those events, both onsite and for hosted gatherings.
Menu and Vision
The menu will focus on southern comfort food inspired by Lawson’s Alabama roots. “Sistas Place is a southern soul food bistro born and raised in Alabama, so bringing a lot of good southern food cuisine here to the Middleburg area,” Lawson told Business Debut.
A featured item is the “soul food potato,” a large baked potato topped with proteins like chicken or steak, along with mac and cheese and collard greens. “That is one of our featured items… that’s the reaction that I want,” she told Business Debut.
The menu will also include fried chicken, candied yams, collard greens, green beans, fried fish, turkey, honey ham, and soups like camp stew. Lawson said the goal is to offer the kind of meals typically reserved for holidays year-round.
Beer, wine, and champagne will be available. The restaurant will also introduce brunch on Fridays and Saturdays, featuring items like chicken and waffles, omelets, tacos, and mimosas.
Opening Timeline
The team is targeting a late May opening, aligned with Memorial Day weekend.
Hours
Sistas Place plans to be open seven days a week.
- Monday–Saturday: Opens at 11:30 a.m. (closing time to be announced)
- Friday & Saturday (Brunch): 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
- Sunday: 2 p.m. – 7 p.m.
