Shipping Container Slider Concept Opening in Marietta

MARIETTA, GA — Small’s Sliders, the shipping container burger concept known for cheeseburger sliders, shakes and seasoned waffle fries, is targeting an early March opening at 2355 Windy Hill Rd, Marietta, GA 30067, franchisee Rocky Moore told Business Debut.

The restaurant will operate out of the brand’s bright "Smorange can,” which is already on site near the Windy Hill Road intersection.

What to Expect

Moore said the location sits on an outparcel at the high-traffic corner just before the intersection of Windy Hill Road and Cobb Parkway. It sits on an outparcel of the shopping center with Ollie's Bargain Outlet and Blue Moon Pizza. The "Smorange" can is in place and outdoor patio setup is being completed.

Small’s Sliders is built around a simplified menu centered on cheeseburger sliders, shakes and seasoned waffle fries served from its signature orange can. Moore told Business Debut the food is designed to be “craveable,” aiming to bring guests back often.

Opening Timeline

Moore said the Marietta restaurant is targeting an early March opening, with hiring underway for a general manager and a staff of about 50.

He said his franchise group plans additional Small’s Sliders locations this year in Warner Robins, Acworth and Hickory Flat, with future growth also planned across the Interstate 75 and Interstate 575 corridors and into central Georgia.

Community Engagement

Moore said the brand’s community engagement includes its Smallstown Hero program, which recognizes a local individual or organization in the community. He said the Marietta selection is Porch Marietta, a local hunger-relief organization that provides food and meals to underserved residents.

The group will be recognized at the grand opening with a donation from the Marietta Small's team.
