Savage Skillet Opening in Bokeelia December 2nd
Food truck Tiny Bites Good Eats and Dynamite Street Eats are coming together to open a brick and mortar restaurant.
BOKEELIA, FL — Savage Skillet is planning a soft opening on December 2 at 5110 Pine Island Rd #140, Bokeelia, FL 33922. Owner Erika Fernandez told Business Debut the space will focus on a full service breakfast, brunch, and lunch menu with light dinner offerings.
Fernandez and business partner Carla Arguello are uniting their food trucks—Tiny Bites Good Eats (Fernandez) and Dynamite Street Eats (Arguello)—to launch the brick-and-mortar concept.
What to Expect
Savage Skillet aims to be a one-stop spot for breakfast and brunch with a casual setting and upscale presentation. The dining room will seat up to 50 guests and serve beer and wine. Fernandez described a modern interior with green, gold, black, and pops of white, noting they want to “bring that Miami style to the island,” she told Business Debut.
The team plans a rotating menu for a later lunch/early dinner period as they gauge demand.
Menu and Vision
Fernandez said the menu will emphasize breakfast and brunch staples with “more of the exotic plating” and distinctive drinks, adding that weekend brunch will be an elevated, package-style experience, she told Business Debut. Early offerings will highlight an “amazing cinnamon roll” with changing toppings, handcrafted coffee drinks, and a fusion touch reflecting Arguello’s South African background and Fernandez’s Cuban roots.
