Saint Bringing Italian Cuisine to Historic St. Augustine Building

River Restaurant Group is set to open its third restaurant, an Italian concept called Saint, at 44 Avenida Menendez, St. Augustine, FL 32084, co-owner Jeff McCusker told Business Debut.

The expansive 12,000-square-foot space will feature 350 seats, including a beautiful courtyard and rooftop dining area. It will also offer space for private events. According to McCusker, Saint will be in one of the country's oldest buildings.

McCusker aims to open Saint by October or November at the latest. This new venture joins the group's existing restaurants: River and Post, a large restaurant with a rooftop bar in Jacksonville (opened 2017), and River and Fort in St. Augustine (approaching its third anniversary in February).

River Restaurant Group currently employs around 270 people, and McCusker expects that number to rise to around 400 once Saint is open.
