{S}table Targets Mid-April Opening in Dunwoody Village, Replacing Steak & Grace
A new southern comfort food concept is planned for Dunwoody.
DUNWOODY, GA — {S}table, a new Southern comfort food restaurant from David Abes, is targeting a mid-April opening at 1317 Dunwoody Village Pkwy Ste 101, Dunwoody, GA 30338. Business Debut first learned the news from ToNeTo Atlanta. Abes told Business Debut the team is remodeling the former Steak & Grace space to create “a softer, more homey” atmosphere.
What to Expect
Abes told Business Debut the dining room is being refreshed with changes like new chandeliers and light fixtures, fresh paint and updated artwork. “It had great bones, just needed a different heart,” he said.
Once complete, the restaurant will offer 80 seats indoors, including a 20-person private room, plus 60 seats on the patio. The space will also include a bar area with seating for about 20.
Menu and Vision
The menu will focus on Southern comfort food with a few twists. Abes told Business Debut guests can expect dishes like fried chicken, a pork chop, pecan custard trout, salmon and New York strip.
Additional items Abes mentioned include barbecue pulled pork dumplings served with chow chow, a Southern-style “lazy Susan” designed as a shareable starter, crab dip, and a wedge salad made with smoked cheddar.

Hours
Service will focus on dinner, with the restaurant closed on Mondays. Abes told Business Debut {S}table plans dinner service the rest of the week, plus Sunday brunch and Sunday supper.
Sunday supper will be served family-style, with groups ordering meals sized for two, four, or more. Abes told Business Debut both reservations and walk-ins will be welcomed.
