Rosie’s Pizza and Restaurant Opening in Wellington
The family behind Augy's in Boca Raton is bringing their award winning pizza to Wellington.
WELLINGTON, FL — Rosie’s Pizza and Restaurant is targeting a January 2026 opening at the Courtyard Shops in Wellington at 13860 Wellington Trace, Wellington, FL 33414. Owner Anthony Vultaggio told Business Debut the team is in the construction and remodeling phase and aiming for an early January debut.
What to Expect
Rosie’s will operate as a neighborhood, full-service pizzeria with indoor and outdoor seating and a strong emphasis on takeout and delivery. Beer and wine will be available. Seating is planned for about 50 guests.
Menu and Vision
Vultaggio said the menu will center on New York-style pies alongside Sicilian and Detroit-style squares, plus classic Italian entrées such as chicken parm, chicken francese, and chicken saltimbocca. “Rosie’s is the New York-style neighborhood pizzeria where you can get traditional pies and some new-school combinations like buffalo chicken, margherita, and chicken-bacon-ranch,” he told Business Debut.
“It’s going to be a family-style Italian restaurant—nice enough for date night but still comfortable for kids and families,” he told Business Debut.

Ownership and Background
Vultaggio’s family came to the U.S. from Sicily and has worked in the restaurant business for generations. The family owned Augy’s Restaurant & Pizza in Boca Raton beginning in the 1970s; Vultaggio operated it until selling the business in 2017, he told Business Debut.
He also owns Mamma Mia’s on the Beach in Lake Worth (not affiliated with any other Mamma Mia restaurants), which was voted Best Pizza in Palm Beach County in 2025 by The Palm Beach Post.
