Red Phone Booth Miami, Rocco's Italian Deli & Market, Arte Food and More New Restaurants
Another week of new Florida restaurant news! Featuring business from Miami, Orlando, Tampa and Gainesville.
Welcome back to this week's restaurant round-up! This week we found several entrepreneurs that have just completed legally forming their businesses and are on the path to opening their concepts.

DADE COUNTY
Las Vinas BBQ 2
The original Las Vinas BBQ brand is branching out to a new location, according to co-owner Julio Neito. A timeline for the new unit's opening is unclear, Neito said. They are early on in the planning process.

The paperwork for the formation of their LLC indicates that the new location will be at: 6091 SW 8th St, West Miami, FL 33144.
Red Phone Booth Miami
A new speakeasy concept is in the works for Miami, according to a filing with the DBPR. Red Phone Booth is in development on Brickell Avenue, and according to the website, is planning to open this summer.
The upscale prohibition experience will be located at: 1010 Brickell Ave 104 105, Miami, FL 33131 and is owned by Johnny Weber of Weber Bros Hospitality, LLC.
SFS Soul Food Sushi
A new soul food and sushi concept is in the works for the Miami area, according to owner Kenson Philippe. SFS Soul Food Sushi is early on in its development, Philippe saids. The business was legally formed on 6/12/23, and an opening date nor address are available as of now.
BROWARD COUNTY
East Acre Pub and Kitchen
Expanding from its initial unit as a food truck, East Acre Pub and Kitchen is among the newest South Florida restaurants being planned. Co-owner Pete Pionegro told FFBW that he is looking for a building to lease currently, and he does not know when they will open.
They do not have a website or social media presence yet, Pionegro told FFBW.
Voodoo Brewery Oakland Park
According to co-franchisee Mark Freher, a new brewery is in the works for Oakland Park. Voodoo Brewery Oakland Park is a franchised location from Voodoo Brewing Co. They will serve food along with their brews.
Freher told FFBW that he hopes to open sometime in September. Find the new brewery at: 3492 NE 12th Ave b, Oakland Park, FL 33334.
PALM BEACH COUNTY
Arte Food
According to owner Roilan Castellanos, he is in the very beginning stages of planning for opening a food trailer. When Arte Food will be operational is unknown. Castellanos reported to FFBW that it is too far out to tell.
Kung Fu Tea
A new boba tea spot is on the way in West Palm Beach, according to co-franchisee Tuan Le. Kung Fu Tea is currently under construction, Le reports, and he doesn't have an estimated opening date yet.

LAKE COUNTY
The Healthy Nut Cafe
A new vegan concept is on the way to Sanford, according to owner Andrew Sanchez. The Healthy Nut Cafe will serve a range if healthy items like hummus wraps, smoothies, avocado toast, and others.
Sanchez reports that they are aiming for a July opening. A specific day is not available as of now.
POLK COUNTY
Lucy's Homemade Ice Cream
A new homemade ice cream parlor is coming to Central Florida soon, according to Brian Honorato, co-owner of Lucy's Homemade Ice Cream. An exact opening date isn't available now, Honorato reports, but they are aiming for sometime in July.
Honorato told FFBW that they used to run the ice cream shop within a Mexican restaurant of their's, and they are just now separating it into its own entity.

BREVARD COUNTY
Rocco's Italian Deli & Market
A new Italian market and deli is in the works for Cocoa Beach, according to owner Rita Moran. The concept for Rocco's Italian Deli & Market is still under wraps. Moran also shared that she doesn't have a firm opening date yet.

ALACHUA COUNTY
Baloo's Donuts and Coffee
A new made-to-order coffee and donuts food truck is on the way to the Gainesville area, co-owner Brandon Grabhorn reported to FFBW. Currently, the their truck is being built out, and they expect to have it ready in 15-18 weeks.
Grabhorn emphasized that their donuts will be made to order and fresh for every customer.
