MARIETTA, GA — Tacos La Villa is preparing to open a new counter-service taqueria at 3545 Canton Rd Suite 102, Marietta, GA 30066, while a second project, Taco La Villa Cantina, is also in the works at 800 Whitlock Ave NW #207, Marietta, GA 30064, replacing MamiTacos.

Dune & Drift Restaurant
ATLANTA, GA — Dune & Drift Restaurant, a restaurant, bar, and rooftop lounge, is in the works at 1152 Pryor St SW, Atlanta, GA 30315, targeting a 2026 opening as it works through permitting and licensing, owner Ashish Shetty told Business Debut.
Ike’s Cafe and Grill
ATLANTA, GA — Ike’s Cafe and Grill is planning a new location at 487 Edgewood Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30312, targeting an opening before the 2026 World Cup, co-owner Mike Kwarteng told Business Debut. The Edgewood project is expected to be the brand’s next step after its longtime Norcross restaurant, which Kwarteng said has operated for about 12 years, and their recent opening in Marietta.
Henry County
Sammy’s Boba and Coffee
STOCKBRIDGE, GA — Sammy’s Boba and Coffee is preparing to open at 1762 Hudson Bridge Rd #402, Stockbridge, GA 30281 in January 2026. Owner Sam Beng told Business Debut the team is in the final stages of buildout and is waiting on permitting and inspections, with a target of mid-January through the third week of January.
