Quinn's Catering Opening The Gin Mill Event Space in Locust Grove

LOCUST GROVE, GA — The Gin Mill, a new catering and events venue from owner Quinn O'Neill, is nearing completion at 250 Cleveland Street Locust Grove, GA 30248, with plans to open around Father’s Day weekend, O'Neill told Business Debut.
Interior construction is complete, with final approvals underway, and the outdoor garden space is expected to follow shortly after.
What to Expect
The Gin Mill will serve as both a catering hub and a dedicated event venue, hosting weddings, private events, and community gatherings. The space includes a banquet hall for up to 150 guests, a large covered patio, and an outdoor garden designed for ceremonies and receptions.
The garden layout features a network of brick-paved walkways with distinct names tied to the wedding experience. O'Neill described pathways including “Couples Boulevard,” “Lover’s Lane,” and “Forever Road,” all converging at a central “Family Circle,” with a ceremony space anchored by a pergola along “Matrimony Lane,” he told Business Debut.
Additionally, under the pergola, couples will have a brick etched with their names displayed and then installed. "We could put 4,000 bricks there. So, we should have plenty of time to fill it," O'Neill said.
O'Neill shared that the concept is centered on collaboration with the city and contributing to the revitalization of Locust Grove’s historic district. “Our main focus is collaborating with the city and bringing something to Locust Grove that is desperately needed to generate tourism,” O'Neill told Business Debut.
The business builds on O'Neill’s established catering company, which has grown primarily through word of mouth since launching in 2017. The operation has handled hundreds of events annually, including weddings, nonprofit functions, and community gatherings.
“We’ve been very blessed, we don’t advertise. Everything has been word of mouth,” O'Neill told Business Debut, noting that a significant portion of the business has supported schools, churches, and nonprofits.
Opening Timeline
The team is targeting a Father’s Day weekend debut, pending final approvals. Bookings are already underway, with weddings and private events scheduled later this year, O'Neill shared with Business Debut.
