Pure Green Opening in Tallahassee

TALLAHASSEE, FL — Pure Green Cascades, a science-based smoothie and cold-pressed juice concept, is targeting a late June to early July opening at 414 E Bloxham St Ste 110, Tallahassee, FL 32301. Owner Sylvia El-Helou told Business Debut the shop will offer a menu built around nutrient-dense superfoods designed to support overall health and wellness.

What to Expect

Guests can expect a fast-casual concept serving smoothies, acai bowls, pitaya bowls, cold-pressed juices, wellness shots, avocado toast, and oatmeal. The shop will also include indoor seating and patio space near Cascades Park, allowing visitors to grab something quick or enjoy a longer visit.

El-Helou said the brand stands apart because its menu is developed using a science-backed approach to nutrition. “Pure Green basically is a smoothie and cold-pressed juice shop, but what differentiates us from other smoothie shops is that we’re science backed,” she told Business Debut.

That approach includes using nutrient-dense ingredients such as lemon, ginger, beets, spirulina, kale, and chia seeds across the menu.

Menu and Vision

El-Helou is a holistic nutritionist and said her background played a major role in choosing the Pure Green franchise. She previously worked with clients one-on-one, helping women address health and hormone concerns through nutrition.

“I’ve always been interested in health and nutrition,” she told Business Debut. “Healing does start with food. It starts with what you put in your body, and if I could provide those healthy options for people then maybe everything else would follow.”

After researching multiple smoothie and juice concepts, El-Helou said she was drawn to Pure Green’s emphasis on clean ingredients and nutrition-driven menu development.

“It’s truly a clean concept, which I as a nutritionist can stand and support 100 percent,” she told Business Debut.

She will lead the customer-facing side of the business and community engagement, while her husband, Steve El-Helou, will help manage the operational and administrative side.

Opening Timeline

The team is targeting a late June or early July opening.

Hours

Planned hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, except major holidays. Hours may extend later during events or concerts hosted at Cascades Park.
