Pups Pub Opening Dog Bar in Clermont Early 2026
Pups Pub will open in Clermont, offering an off-leash dog bar and social hangout for locals.
CLERMONT, FL — Sheila Suhar told Business Debut that Pups Pub is targeting an opening in late January or early February at 898 W Montrose St, Clermont, FL 34711.
What to Expect
Pups Pub will be an off-leash dog and sports bar where guests can enjoy drinks, socialize, and let their dogs roam freely in a secure environment. The 2,500-square-foot open-air space is being converted from an old automotive repair shop, featuring bay doors that create an indoor-outdoor feel, plus roughly 0.3 acres of outdoor play area for dogs.
The bar will offer beer and wine, with plans to potentially add liquor service in the future. Guests will also be able to order food through kiosks that connect to local restaurants in downtown Clermont, allowing them to enjoy food from nearby partners while supporting other small businesses.
Menu and Vision
Suhar described Pups Pub as “a third space” — a community hub for dog lovers to relax, meet new people, and connect with others who share a love for their pets. “We focus on creating community,” she told Business Debut. “When your dog and my dog are playing together, it naturally starts a conversation. It’s one of the few ways left to meet people organically.”
Expansion and Franchising
Pups Pub currently has plans to expand through franchising, bringing the concept to additional cities with strong pet-focused communities. Suhar said the team is working on securing a new Tampa-area location that could open by mid-2026.
Opening Timeline
Pups Pub Clermont is targeting an opening between late January and early February 2026, pending final construction and permitting.
Hours
The bar will be open Monday through Thursday from 5 p.m.–10 p.m., Friday from 5 p.m.–11 p.m., Saturday from 12 p.m.–11 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m.–10 p.m.
