ROLESVILLE, NC — The Pub Hub, a new beer-focused concept from Dan Colby and Liza David, is targeting a late spring to early summer opening at 811 S Main Street, Suite 206, Unit 811-106, Rolesville, NC 27571. Colby told Business Debut that construction has begun following final permitting, with an estimated 10-week buildout timeline.

What to Expect

The Pub Hub will operate as a beer garden-style pub with approximately 2,000 square feet of indoor space and a larger outdoor area. Inside, guests can expect a long bar with about 20 seats, communal-style tables, and additional seating along the windows.

The concept will include live music, yard games, a fire pit, and a family-friendly environment. The Pub Hub is part of the Walbrook development, a growing mixed-use area anchored by a Publix and surrounding residential community.

The Pub Hub will not serve food directly. Instead, the business will partner with nearby restaurants for food ordering and delivery to the space, allowing guests to access a variety of options.

“Our goal is to bring all the local breweries under one roof,” Colby told Business Debut. The pub will feature a mix of local craft beers alongside popular domestic options, as well as wine and frozen drinks.

The space is designed as a “garage pub” with a modern, industrial feel and a relaxed, social atmosphere. The team also plans to sell merchandise, including branded items as well as goods from featured local breweries.

The decor will incorporate historical elements from Rolesville, including reclaimed materials from a former homestead discovered during development, tying the space to the town’s history.

Ownership Vision

Dan Colby and Liza David developed The Pub Hub concept after visiting breweries across North Carolina and recognizing the need for a more centralized experience.

Rather than brewing their own beer, the owners created a concept focused on showcasing a variety of local breweries in one place, with an emphasis on community, shared experiences, and accessibility.

Opening Timeline

The Pub Hub was initially targeting a spring opening but is now aiming for late spring to early summer, with hopes of opening by around the Fourth of July depending on inspections and final approvals.
