Pizzeria at the Georgia Winery Opening Labor Day Weekend

Jesse and Tara Taymore are planning to open a new pizzeria inside the Georgia Winery, located at 6469 Battlefield Parkway, Ringgold, GA 30736. This much-anticipated addition will officially open its doors on Labor Day weekend, September 1st, catering to the popular demand of winery patrons seeking dining options.

Georgia Winery's loyal customers have long requested a food option, inspiring the Taymores to establish a pizzeria. "There are not many places nearby that offer quality food," Jesse Taymore explained. "Over time, more customers wanted us to add food."

The pizzeria will be offering seven signature pizzas that pair with Georgia Winery wines. The pizza offerings will incorporate house-made sauces and toppings. A highlight on the menu is a waffle dessert, served alongside ice cream and a wine reduction.

In addition to dining, the pizzeria will host events and community gatherings.

Founded by Dr. Maurice Rawlings, a Chattanooga cardiologist who turned to viticulture later in life, Georgia Winery has been a cherished family-owned establishment for 42 years. Jesse and Tara Taymore, alongside vineyard manager Adrian Prowty, are committed to maintaining the legacy of the Georgia Winery.
