Pita-Pie Cafe Bringing Middle Eastern Flavors to Winter Haven
Pita pies filled with cheese, spinach, buffalo chicken, and more will be served alongside tabbouleh, baklava, and Middle Eastern teas.
Pita-Pie Cafe is set to open in Winter Haven, bringing a unique Palestinian and Middle Eastern-inspired baked goods concept, owner Al Hamdan shared with Business Debut.
The café will serve Pita-Pies, pastries made with pita dough and filled with various ingredients. Some of the offerings include the Philly Feast, a Philly cheesesteak-style pita pie, the Cheesy Delight, which is cheese-filled, the Spinach Delight with spinach, and the Buffalo Blaze, a buffalo chicken variation.
In addition to these specialty baked goods, the café will offer tabbouleh salad, baklava, coffee, sage tea, and mint tea. Hamdan mentioned they may also expand the menu to include shawarma and hummus in the future.
The 1,200-square-foot storefront will feature a 20-seat dining area and a TV for guests. Along with its café offerings, Pita-Pie Cafe will also wholesale its Pita Pies for distribution.
Pita-Pie Cafe will be located at 5999 Dundee Rd #450, Winter Haven, FL 33884 and will be open Monday through Friday from 9 am – 5 pm.
