Pirate-Themed Seafood Restaurant Coming Soon to Apopka
A mix of pirate-themed décor and Southern-style seafood boils will anchor Captain Jack's Crab House opening next year.
APOPKA, FL – Captain Jack’s Crab House is preparing to bring a bold seafood concept to the community with its upcoming opening at 2107 E Semoran Blvd, Suite, Apopka, FL 32703. The family-owned and operated restaurant is targeting a February 2026 opening date, according to owner Huy To, who spoke with Business Debut.
A Pirate-Themed & Seafood Menu Experience
The restaurant will run like a fast-casual place, focusing a lot on takeout. It'll also have space for about 40 people to sit and eat outside, in a 1,200-square-foot area. The decor and theme will be inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean, with some of the menu items having nautical names to match the vibes.
Customers can enjoy traditional Southern-style Cajun seafood boils, featuring crab, shrimp, and a variety of shellfish. The menu will also feature other Latin-inspired dishes later on for diverse flavors to give their guests more options. To confirm the concept will balance traditional Cajun spices with approachable family-style dining. “We’re going to be offering a Southern-style Cajun seafood boil. It’s family dining with a takeout focus service,” To said.
A Veteran in the Food Industry
Although this is To’s first solo restaurant, he brings over 30 years of food and beverage experience to the project, ranging from fast food to full-service dining. “I’ve always had a passion for food, and I just sat on it for too long. One day, I said, ‘You know what? Let’s just go for it. Let’s have some fun,” he explained.
To add that his philosophy is rooted in customer value: “I always believe in giving customers great food, competitive pricing, and a value for their time. That’s what I want people to experience when they walk into Captain Jack’s.”
Hours of Operation
The opening hours and days for Captain Jack's Crab House will be 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday through Sunday. Hours may change in the future depending on customers' demand.
