The Keys are in for another cool concept, according to the website for Pinfish Entertainment Center. We can expect to find bowling, arcade games, axe throwing, and a self-serving beer tap wall. Owner Matt Struhs project that they will open this summer.

You’ll find the entertainment center in Tavernier at 91214 Overseas Hwy.

DADE COUNTY

The Taco Stand

The Taco Stand, a California-based brand, is opening another location in Miami this year, according to Michael Roels, the V.P. of operations for Shōwa Hospitality. The brand has 12 locations throughout the country, with one of them in Wynwood. They are estimated to open in late 2023.

Expect to find the new location at 2063 SW 8th St.

Dave’s Hot Chicken

Aventura will soon be home to a new Dave’s Hot Chicken location, according to filings with the DBPR. The brand has been expanding in several states with its signature Nashville-style fried chicken. An employee of Summit Capital Group executed the filing, but we have not been able to confirm any details with them at this time. An opening date is unknown.

Look for them at 18717 Biscayne Blvd #305.

BROWARD COUNTY

B&D Trap

A new concept is coming to Fort Lauderdale, according to managing director Kevin Rodriguez. B&D Trap will be a quick service Texas-style barbecue restaurant. You will order, take a number, and your barbecue will follow. They plan to open this summer.

Expect the concept to appear at 1551 NW 6th St.

Pubbelly Sushi

A local South Florida chain is preparing for an expansion into Pembroke Pines, according to Chief Partner of Pubbelly Sushi Jose Mendin. An opening timeline isn’t available as of now. This will be the fifth location for the brand. The others can be found in Aventura, Dadeland, Brickell City Centre, and Miami Beach.

Expect to find the new unit at 306 SW 145th Ave.

Livia Bar & Grill

A new Italian American concept is coming to town this fall. A spokesperson for Livia Bar & Grill confirmed with FFBW that they will offer live music, DJ’s, a 70-foot indoor-outdoor bar, and TV’s for watching all of your favorite sports teams.

Expect to find the new concept in Fort Lauderdale at 500 N Andrews Ave.

Topo Chico Bar

The famous Topo Chico brand is planning a bar in the Fort Lauderdale airport soon, according to filings with the DBPR. Details about the new concept are rather slim, as FFBW hasn’t be able to reach anyone from Lauderdale F & B Partners, the company behind the filing. Eric Haseman, the Director of Operations for the hospitality group Delaware North, was involved in the filing as well. He has not returned our requests for information.

They will appear in terminal 3, in the E-F Connector at 200 Terminal Dr.

PALM BEACH COUNTY

E & B Haitian Restaurant

A new Haitian concept is coming to Delray Beach, according to the owner Berchilde Mondesir. E & B Haitian Restaurant is expected to open sometime this month.

Expect to find the new unit at 341 SE 2nd Ave #7

Mochinut

A new dessert shop is opening in Greenacres soon, according to the owner of the new location. The Mochinut brand is known for serving a delicious blend of American donuts and Japanese mochi. An opening date is estimated for sometime this month.

You will find them at 6722 Forest Hill Blvd.

Pink Steak

West Palm Beach will be home to a new concept soon called Pink Steak, according to filings with the DBPR. The filing was executed by JG Steak LTD and Steak Management, INC, which is led by Julien Gremaud. We are under the assumption that this is a steakhouse. An opening date is unknown.

Expect to find them at: 277 S Dixie Hwy.
