Peace, Love and Little Donuts Opening in Apex

A new spot for donuts and coffee is opening in Apex.

APEX, NC – Peace, Love and Little Donuts is bringing a new twist to the local food scene with a franchise location under construction at 2826 Teachey Pl., Apex, NC 27523. The shop is expected to open in late November or December, according to franchise owner Chazz Washington, who confirmed the plans to Business Debut.

More Than Just Donuts

The concept is counter service, where customers order at the food theater, and donuts will be made in front of them. Options range from powdered classics to more extravagant creations like the “Funkadelic” series created on-site. Customers can also select their specialized toppings and stuff to customize donuts and pick out. The store will also accommodate special dietary needs by offering gluten-free donuts on certain days.

Aside from donuts, the shop will feature locally roasted coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice from Peak City Coffee Roasters. Rachel Castaneda, a well-known local artist, will also create a special mural for the new area, enhancing its lively and welcoming ambiance.

A Family-Owned Donut Destination

The Apex location of Peace, Love and Little Donuts will be family-operated, marking the brand’s expansion into Wake County. Washington was drawn into franchising this brand as it has a different feel, and he’s been living his whole life in Apex with Dunkin' Donuts, which is nothing new.

“Once you walk in the door, you just get a feeling like you’re in a different place,” Washington shared. “It’s definitely something that Apex has needed for a long time.”
