Patiperros Bringing a Sports Bar and Restaurant to Miami Beach

A new sports bar and full-service restaurant is coming to Miami Beach. Owner Steve Polisar told Business Debut that Patiperros is preparing to open at 1971 71st St, Miami Beach, FL 33141, replacing the former Pedro’s Resto-Bar.

The venue is aiming for an early August opening, though no exact date has been set. Renovations include the addition of an outdoor seating area to complement the indoor dining space.

Patiperros will serve lunch and dinner daily and remain open late—until 3 am—to cater to the nightlife and sports-viewing crowd. “The food will be done by a top chef. It will have excellent food… we haven’t completed a menu yet, but it will include entrees along with bar food,” Polisar said. A full liquor bar will also be part of the concept.

Polisar brings deep experience in the hospitality industry, both as a restaurant operator and as an attorney specializing in hospitality law. He currently serves as chairman of the Nightlife Industry Task Force of Miami Beach. “Miami is a sandbar, it’s changing all the time,” he said. “The city realizes they need somebody to educate them on the changes that take place every four or five years. So that’s what my mission is at the moment.”
