ATLANTA, GA — Pataaka, a new modern Indian restaurant from Anish Nair, is targeting a late May to early June opening at 1000 Spring St NW, Atlanta, GA 30309.

Pataaka is designed as an upscale dining destination with a refined atmosphere. The space will feature warm lighting, contemporary design elements, and a layout that supports both everyday dining and special occasions.

The restaurant will include approximately 113 seats, a mezzanine level for private dining, and a 14-seat bar. It will operate seven days a week, serving lunch, happy hour, and dinner to accommodate nearby office traffic and evening guests.

The menu at Pataaka will center on modern Indian cuisine, with an emphasis on small plates and shareable dishes. The concept draws from regional Indian flavors while presenting them in a more contemporary format, focusing on technique, presentation, and ingredient quality.

Nair described the approach as a progressive interpretation of Indian cuisine rather than fusion, building on the foundation of his existing concept, Jai Ho, while pushing into more creative and seasonal territory.

“I’m most excited about pushing creative boundaries… reimagining dishes like dosa, seafood preparations, and regional classics in a way that feels fresh and memorable,” Nair told Business Debut.

The beverage program will include cocktails and a curated wine selection, complementing the more elevated dining experience.
