Palm Bay’s Bayside Lakes to Welcome Gelazzo Dessert Shop
Gelazzo is opening in Palm Bay, serving handmade gelato, Italian ice, smoothies, and classic espresso drinks.

Palm Bay, FL – A new dessert destination is about to sweeten up Bayside Lakes this fall. Gelazzo, a locally owned gelato, ice cream, and Italian ice shop, is set to open on October 22nd at 3450 Bayside Lakes Blvd SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909, according to co-owner Linda Pizzolo, who spoke with Business Debut. We came across the story first in What Now Orlando.
The business is owned by Linda and her husband Anthony Pizzolo, their partners Keith Caras and Keith D'Amato, and Anthony's sister Maria Elaine Germano. Together, they are introducing Brevard County to authentic Italian desserts.
Handmade Desserts and Fresh Ingredients
From the gelato to the Italian ice cream, everything at Gelazzo is freshly made on-site. Customers can expect a range of flavors such as pistachio, mascarpone, limoncello, and tiramisu. Fresh fruit will be included in some Italian ice cream options, along with smoothies.

“We want moms to have healthier options after sports practice while the kids enjoy their desserts,” Pizzolo said.
Visitors can eat in or take their desserts to go. With genuine bowls, glassware, and silverware for a more upscale café atmosphere, the 1,200-square-foot store can accommodate 20–25 people. For those who want to mix dessert with a hot beverage, Gelazzo will also serve espressos, affogatos, and coffee.
The shop also plans to add granola and more pastries, depending on what customers want. “We want to make our customers happy. That's the bottom line,” Pizzolo noted.
Gelazzo will be open seven days a week from 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
A Family Recipe with Italian Roots
For the Pizzolo family, Gelazzo is the fulfillment of a long-time dream. This will be their first store, though the concept has been decades in the making. Anthony and Maria Elaine’s father immigrated from Italy years ago, bringing with him his grandmother’s gelato recipes. That heritage inspired the family to finally launch their own shop.
The store’s tagline, “Feel the Flavor,” reflects their mission to make authentic Italian-style treats accessible to locals.
