Origin Pizza Cafe Expanding to Venice with Sixth Location
Owner Rami Nehme will bring Origin Pizza’s signature pies, wings, and Mediterranean favorites to Venice next spring.

Origin Pizza Cafe is set to expand its reach with the opening of its sixth restaurant in March 2026, strategically sited in Venice. This announcement was shared with Business Debut by owner Rami Nehme, marking another significant milestone for the brand. The new location at 1693 S Tamiami Trl b, Venice, FL 34293 will join the existing lineup, solidifying the cafe’s footprint in the region.
What to Expect
The Venice location promises to offer a distinctive dining experience with full-service seating for approximately 120–130 guests alongside a full bar. The menu will offer pizzas, wings (which Nehme proudly touts as “the best wings in the state of Florida”) as well as a selection of Mediterranean-style dishes.
Featured items include falafel, hummus, artichoke dip, and the signature Origin Salad, which masterfully combines zucchini, summer squash, feta, and onions over a bed of arugula and spinach.
Brand and History
The Origin Pizza brand, first launched in 2016 by Nehme, has become an integral part of weekly dining routines for many Sarasota residents and tourists. Nehme is collaborating with his brother Fabi for the Sarasota location, who joins him after a career transition from the medical field in Italy.
“This will be the first time we’ve lived near each other since childhood, and it means a lot to have him here helping with the restaurant and being an uncle to my kids,” shared Nehme.
Origin Pizza Cafe currently boasts five successful brick-and-mortar locations throughout Sarasota County and a permanent food truck at Big Top Brewing.
Opening Timeline
Their opening target is March 2026. Once open, the cafe plans to welcome guests from 11 a.m. to midnight on weekdays and extend hours until 1 a.m. on weekends.
