Risser, originally from Lancaster, PA—where the brand was founded—had been a loyal customer before pursuing a franchising opportunity when the program launched.
She highlighted her journey in the brand’s press release: “Our journey with Oola Bowls began at the Lancaster Central Market, where we quickly fell in love with the delicious açai bowls and the vibrant community around them. Three years ago, our family moved from our beloved hometown in Lancaster County, PA, to a charming suburb in Northern Georgia. Driven by our desire to have our own business and be part of our new community, we've embraced the opportunity to open an Oola Bowls family business,” said Risser.
The location will be at 3521 Braselton Hwy Ste D100, Dacula, GA 30019, where they will have 2,853 square feet indoors and 1,166 square feet outdoors. The space is designed as a "sit and stay" experience with a dedicated outdoor patio.
Keep up with the brand at oolabowls.com and on their Hamilton Mill-specific Instagram account.
Expect a late August opening.
