Office Space, Co-Working, and Dining Coming to Tampa Under One Roof

The Garrison House aims to be a refined space for work and play.

TAMPA, FL — The Garrison House, a multi-faceted venue for work and leisure, is preparing to open in Tampa, according to co-owner Jason Smith. Smith told us that the project is targeting an April debut. Within the space, Emily and Jason Smith are launching Two Fold Coffee & Kitchen, providing a dining option throughout the day to patrons.

The business will be located at 301 S. Falkenburg Rd., Tampa, FL 33619.

What to Expect

Two Fold Coffee & Kitchen will operate as an elevated fast-casual coffee and food concept, offering craft coffee alongside a scratch-made food menu. While not a traditional full-service restaurant, the space is designed for guests to dine, work, and gather in a relaxed but refined environment.

The restaurant will span about 2,500 square feet with seating for approximately 60 guests, complemented by a covered outdoor patio of roughly 1,500 square feet.

Seating will be intentionally spaced to accommodate laptops, meetings, and longer stays, with a mix of traditional tables and lounge-style seating.

The menu is still in development, but Smith said the focus will be on quality ingredients and approachable dishes executed at a higher level. Breakfast offerings are expected to include elevated takes on classics such as bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches, avocado toast, and burrito-style items.

Two Fold will also serve beer and wine, with plans to offer a small selection of local beers on tap and curated wines. “We want people to eat something quickly, but in a really nice environment,” Smith told Business Debut, describing the concept as fast casual without sacrificing craftsmanship.

The menu is being developed in consultation with Chef Viet Vo, who is helping design a lineup of small plates and kitchen offerings that align with the brand’s elevated approach.

The Garrison House

Two Fold Coffee & Kitchen will operate within The Garrison House, a collaborative workspace and meeting hub founded by Jason Smith and Emily Smith. The Garrison House is designed as a shared environment, combining office space, community programming, and food and beverage under one roof.

Smith, who also owns and operates a design-and-build firm WMX Management Group, said the concept is inspired by the military term “garrison house,” historically a place where leaders gathered to plan and collaborate.

The space will offer a limited number of memberships focused on mentorship, education, and business growth.

Ownership and Leadership

Owners Jason and Emily Smith have brought on Phil Schiller, who previously served as general manager for Foundation Coffee, to oversee kitchen and day-to-day operations.

Opening Timeline

The Garrison House and Two Fold Coffee & Kitchen are expected to open simultaneously in early second quarter 2026, targeting April.

Hours

Planned hours are Monday through Saturday, starting at 7 a.m. Monday–Thursday until 9 p.m., with extended hours until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The business plans to be closed on Sundays.
