POMPANO BEACH, FL – NY Pizza Place is expanding with its 5th location at 330 S Federal Hwy, Pompano Beach, FL 33069, targeting an opening in late June or early July, owner Elyshia Allen told Business Debut.

Allen, who owns the business alongside her husband Kelley Allen and business partners Chris Slusser and Francesca Perini, said the new restaurant will introduce a different layout compared to most of the brand’s existing stores.

What to Expect

NY Pizza Place is a family-owned pizzeria focused on authentic New York-style pizza. “We bring our dough in from Brooklyn, so it’s real New York pizza in Florida,” Allen told Business Debut.

The pizzas are made with Grande cheese and Italian plum tomatoes and baked in what Allen calls “the dragon,” an Italian conveyor oven designed with individual heating elements in each stone to ensure consistency. “All of our pizzas come out consistent each time in about under seven minutes,” she said.

The Pompano Beach location will be one of the company’s first standalone buildings rather than a strip mall space. It will feature a covered patio with outdoor seating, lush landscaping and a large mural along the side of the building. Inside, guests can expect approximately 12 bar-style seats along the window overlooking U.S. 1, with about 24 additional seats on the patio.

Service will remain fast casual, with counter ordering and new in-store kiosks. The company is also preparing to launch a mobile app for ordering.

While pizza remains the focus, the menu also includes meatballs made with Allen’s grandmother’s marinara recipe. “It’s actually my grandmother’s recipe,” Allen said, noting the brand plans to begin jarring and selling the sauce in-store.

Other offerings include air-fried “guiltless wings” and panozos, a 14-inch pizza dough folded in half, baked with olive oil and garlic, and stuffed with options like meatball parm or chicken parm.

“We take pride in our pizza,” Allen told Business Debut.

The team is also working to secure a beer and wine license, with plans to expand those offerings across all locations in the coming months.
