NY Deli and Juice Bar Opening Soon in Decatur

NY Deli and Juice Bar is set to open at 4788 Memorial Dr, Decatur, GA 30032, bringing a taste of traditional New York-style deli culture to the South. While the exact opening date hasn’t been finalized, the team is aiming to launch within the next two months, according to the owner, Mohamed Nagi, who spoke with Business Debut.

The new restaurant is taking over the former Waffle House building and is currently in the remodeling phase to make it a fast-paced counter-service deli experience. “It’s going to be like a typical New York deli, but right here in the South,” Nagi said.

The concept will introduce authentic New York staples with a modern twist. The menu will add items like chopped cheese sandwiches, burgers, fresh fruit, and cold-pressed juices.

The operating hours are expected to be from 6 am–10 pm daily initially, with a 24-hour operation transition depending on customer traffic. Nagi also owns The Blue Deli in Montgomery, Alabama, and other restaurants in New York.
