Novatore Cucina & Bar, a new upscale Italian restaurant, is set to open in Miami at the end of February, co-owner Gabriel Mendelzon shared with Business Debut. Located at 2700 N Miami Ave #106, Miami, FL 33127, the restaurant will offer a seasonal, detail-oriented menu that blends traditional recipes with contemporary techniques under the guidance of Michelin-starred chef Andrea Bernardi.

The restaurant pays tribute to Chef Bernardi’s grandfather, Novatore, whose love for food and community inspired this project. “Novatore Cucina & Bar is a tribute to the family history of our chef Andrea Bernardi, a tribute to his grandfather Novatore, a man for whom food and company were more important than money. This restaurant seeks to recreate the warmth and closeness of those family meals, fusing traditional recipes with contemporary techniques, always maintaining the highest standards of world cuisine," the restaurant's brand packet says.

Novatore will open in two phases. The first phase, launching in February 2025, will feature 45 seats. A second phase, planned for spring 2025, will expand the seating capacity to 100+.

Behind Novatore are three partners: Chef Andrea Bernardi, whose culinary expertise spans several countries; Marcelo Marocchino, serving as marketing director with a background in consulting, strategic marketing, and fashion; and Gabriel Mendelzon, a commercial real estate investor and CEO of Unicentro S.A. and Carmel S.A. in Paraguay.
