Buncombe County
Le Parisien
ASHEVILLE, NC — Le Parisien Restaurant is preparing to open at 62 N Lexington Ave, Asheville, NC 28801 after an eight-month remodel. Owner and chef Gabriel Attala told Business Debut the build-out is complete, and the team is waiting on final permits, with a target opening date in late February.
Qalas Coffee House
A new Yemeni coffee and pastry business is preparing to open soon in Asheville at: 640 Merrimon Ave, Ste 107, Asheville, NC 28804. Owner Sadeq Albakri shared that they are planning to debut as soon as next month. While the exact menu items are not known as of now, Albakri shared that they will serve Yemeni style coffee, desserts, and pastries. The menu will be limited and will not include full meals, but only coffee, teas, other beverages and baked food items.

Delancey Tavern
DURHAM, NC - Delancey Tavern has opened in Durham, bringing a supper club-like dining room and contemporary American menu to 408 West Geer Street, Durham, NC 27701. Owner Malachy Noone, a partner in Viceroy and Hutchins Garage (also in the same building), told Business Debut the team opened quietly on Thursday, February 5th.
Franklin County
The Pickled Onion
YOUNGSVILLE, NC — The Pickled Onion is preparing to open its fifth location at 771 Tarboro Road, Youngsville, NC 27596, owner Gregory Sunday told Business Debut. The team is targeting an opening in late February or early March and is currently focused on hiring and training staff ahead of launch.
Guilford County
Hummus Republic
HIGH POINT, NC — Hummus Republic plans to open in April at 1589 Skeet Club Rd, Suite 131, High Point, NC 27265, co-franchisee Ghanshyam Pathak told Business Debut. The fast-casual Mediterranean concept is planned for a 1,600-square-foot space near the Harris Teeter-anchored shopping center.
Wake County
Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken
RALEIGH, NC – Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken, a fast-casual Nashville hot chicken chain, is planning its first Raleigh location at 5011 Falls of Neuse Rd Suite E, Raleigh, NC 27609. Harsh Kandakur, who is opening the restaurant with his wife, Varsha Kandakur, told Business Debut the team has signed a lease and submitted building and health permits.
Sabatino's Italian Ristorante
WAKE FOREST, NC – Sabatino's Italian Ristorante is set to open February 24 at 131 Crenshaw Cors Dr, Wake Forest, NC 27587. Co-owner Phil Seigman and partner James Ripple told Business Debut the team has completed construction and recently finished painting and refreshing the space after taking over the former Patronies Pizza.
