Noods Targeting Late April Debut in Orlando
Guests can expect boat noodles, Thai street dishes, and everyday noodle favorites at this intimate full-service noodle restaurant.
ORLANDO, FL — Noods, a Thai noodle-focused restaurant from Ponprapa Tunseeprasert and Aroonporn Puttarat, is targeting a late April opening at 6433 Raleigh St., Orlando, FL 32835, Ponprapa Tunseeprasert told Business Debut.
Business Debut learned of this story first from Orlando Weekly.
What to Expect
Noods will be a full-service restaurant with approximately 35 seats, designed to feel intimate and nostalgic. The concept centers on authentic Thai noodle dishes and street food commonly found in Bangkok.
Guests can expect a menu led by boat noodles, alongside variations like non-top noodles and other street-style dishes typically found in alleyways across Thailand. Tunseeprasert said the goal is to create a “homey” and retro-inspired space that reflects everyday dining culture in Thailand.
Menu and Vision
The menu will focus on approachable, everyday dining with an emphasis on affordability. Tunseeprasert told Business Debut that pricing is intentionally set so guests can visit regularly, not just for special occasions.
“I don’t want people to feel like only special occasions they come,” she said. “I want them to feel like they can eat here comfortably… like they can come every day.”
The concept also draws visual and emotional inspiration from the 2000 Hong Kong film In the Mood for Love, influencing the restaurant’s color palette and atmosphere. “I want people when they come to feel and then to see what I see, to feel what I feel in each detail,” she told Business Debut.
Ownership Background
Tunseeprasert is a full-time real estate agent who has worked with both residential and commercial clients, including helping restaurateurs secure spaces for their businesses. She said her experience in the market, combined with a personal passion for food rooted in her family’s restaurant background, led her to pursue the concept.
She is partnering with Aroonporn Puttarat, who also has experience in the food industry. The two connected over a shared interest in opening a Thai noodle concept in Orlando, where they felt the category was underrepresented.
Opening Timeline
The team is targeting a late April opening, with plans to debut in early summer if needed.
Hours
Noods plans to operate seven days a week from 11:30 a.m. — 10 p.m., with extended hours until 10:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
