From the owners of Cartersville’s Mulehouse Pizza, a new NY-style pizza place is coming to Euharlee. Owners Nikolas and Kayla Philliber are opening Nicko's NY Pizza in a former mercantile building dating back to 1850 at: 110 Covered Bridge Rd, Euharlee, GA 30120.

The concept will be a family-oriented New York-style pizza restaurant and ice cream shop. Nikolas shared that they will serve large 18-inch pies, pizza by the slice, and offer eight flavors of ice cream.

The space will also feature an arcade in the back for kids. For adults, there will be a selection of canned craft beers.

As for the décor and atmosphere, Philliber noted that they plan to honor the building’s history but kept the details under wraps to preserve some surprise.

Nicko’s is planning to open within the next five weeks, according to Philliber.

Philliber shared that a nickname he’s been given – Nicko – from a vendor at Mulehouse Pizzeria stuck with him. It seemed like a great name for an New York-style pizza shop. So when he found this building, he decided to run with it.

The Mulehouse brand began in 2019 when the Phillibers restored a horse trailer into a food trailer—hence the name, Mulehouse. The couple bootstrapped their business from the very beginning. Philliber shared that they converted the trailer in the evenings after putting their kids to bed.

Mulehouse expanding into a brick-and-mortar in downtown Cartersville three years ago. Today, they serve guests at their restaurant, offer catering, and operate two food trucks.
