New York Style Halal Eats Coming Soon to Lilburn
Naz’s Halal Food is opening in Lilburn, bringing seasoned halal meats.
LILBURN, GA – Naz’s Halal Food is bringing its New York–style halal flavors to Georgia, with plans to open its first location in the state at 4805 Lawrenceville Hwy #406, Lilburn, GA 30047. Operator of this location Magi Mashriqi confirmed to Business Debut that they are making progress at their space Lawrenceville Hwy, but exact opening date is not set.
“It’s all cosmetic work,” Mashriqi said. “The place was in good condition, so we're just gonna put up the wall wrap, maybe change the tiles, and update things like fire extinguishers.”
Menu and Concept
Like all Naz’s Halal Food locations across the country, the Lilburn restaurant will feature the brand’s signature menu, platters, gyros, and sandwiches loaded with seasoned halal meats, fresh toppings, and house-made sauces.
A Family-First Brand
Founded in 2009 by cousins Naz and Kareem, both former New York City public school teachers, the brand started as a single food truck in Queens before opening its first brick-and-mortar location in 2018. Today, Naz’s Halal Food operates more than 40 locations and will be reaching 60 by the end of 2025. The company prides itself on treating customers, employees, and licensees like family. Co-founder Kareem Mohmend is quoted on their website, “Sharing comfort food for all palates in a family-style experience is what we’re all about.”
