New Tavern Bringing Seafood and Sports to North Augusta
Opening in August, Brink’s Tavern will offer lunch and dinner daily in North Augusta.

Brink’s Tavern, a new and more casual concept from the Brinkley Restaurant Group, is opening in North Augusta. Business Debut spoke with Ed Defelice, the COO and executive chef for the brand, to get the details.
Expect to find Brink’s Tavern at 210 Georgia Ave, North Augusta, SC 29841, where they will have 160 seats inside and an additional 40 in a covered patio outside in a courtyard.
The new location, Defelice said, is meant to be more casual and inclusive in pricing and atmosphere while still maintaining the group’s ethos of serving the best possible dishes with the best possible service.
Brink’s will serve lunch and dinner seven days a week. The menu will include fried chicken, East Coast, West Coast, and Gulf oysters, Low Country seafood, hot and cold seafood towers, burgers, and gourmet sandwiches.

The restaurant’s focal point will be a large bar. The aesthetic will follow a classic tavern style, Defelice said, featuring interior brickwork and hunter green and burgundy colors.
They will also have a large LED TV wall for sporting events, and will host live music, harvest-style dinners in their courtyard, wine dinners, and more.
The business is meant to be an easy place for friends to reconnect, families to stop by for lunch during a day out, and guests to relax with a drink and an excellent meal.
This venture comes nearly three years after Brinkley Restaurant Group launched Brinkley’s Chophouse, a fine dining restaurant by the Savannah River. This new concept, Defelice said, is meant to reach diners who want a great dining experience in a more casual setting.
Expect them to open in August.
