New Smoothie Shop Opening in Cocoa Beach
Magic Smoothies will offer fruit-based blends, fresh juices and açaí bowls.
COCOA BEACH, FL - Magic Smoothies is targeting an April 1 opening at 4285 N Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931, owner Ron Abeles told Business Debut. The new smoothie and juice concept will join his existing restaurants, Pokey Fin and Rock the Guac, creating a connected trio of health-focused concepts under one roof.
What to Expect
Magic Smoothies will operate as a fast-casual concept with approximately 10 to 12 seats. Guests will be able to move between Magic Smoothies and neighboring Rock the Guac through an interior opening, allowing them to pair items from both menus in one visit.
Abeles also owns Pokey Fin and Rock the Guac, which sit on either side of the new smoothie shop. With the addition of Magic Smoothies, he will occupy the entire strip center, creating a cohesive food destination centered on fresh, customizable options.
The smoothie shop will focus on fruit-based blends made without ice. “It’s a no ice zone,” Abeles told Business Debut. If guests prefer a thinner consistency, smoothies will be blended with oat milk, almond milk or other alternatives rather than ice.
The menu will also feature fresh juices made with ingredients such as ginger, carrot, and celery, as well as a build-your-own açaí bowl program with a toppings display. Guests will be able to choose from bases including açaí, dragon fruit, and coconut, along with various add-ons such as protein powders and other functional ingredients.
The interior is designed to feel whimsical and inviting, with custom murals throughout the space. Abeles said the environment is intended to feel delightful and welcoming for families, creating a space where children will enjoy spending time and be encouraged to choose healthier options.

Menu and Vision
Abeles, a longtime Cocoa Beach entrepreneur, previously operated I Dream of Yogurt before opening Rock the Guac and converting the former yogurt space into Pokey Fin. He now operates multiple Pokey Fin locations in the region.
With Magic Smoothies, he said his goal is to offer a product that prioritizes quality and health. “I just want to make sure that I bring only good to the community,” he told Business Debut. “I’m not here just to make money. I’m also here to bring a quality product to people.”
Ron’s personal favorites on the menu include the Peanut Butter Potion and the Berry Enchantment.
The interior murals are created by artist Rick Shores, who has collaborated with Abeles on his other concepts. “He is an amazing friend who brings my visions to life,” Abeles told Business Debut, noting that Shores is also the artist behind the murals at his Pokey Fin restaurants.
Tiffany Lagoudakis will serve as manager and is assisting with recipe development and menu execution.
