Fatman’s Kitchen — Lilesville

Owners: Antonio & Misty Wall.
Where: 3944 Vintage Rd, Lilesville, NC 28091.
Status: Targeting the week before Thanksgiving; full-service upgrade from their food truck. Seats ~250.
Hours (planned): Tue–Fri 6 a.m.–8/9 p.m.; Sat–Sun 6 a.m.–9/10 p.m.; Mon closed or breakfast only.
Highlights: Fried ribs and lamb chops headline, plus wings, fried fish, and salmon bites. Family-run.

La Pizza Party — Asheville

Owners/Partners: Federico Marquez with Cristian Marquez, Aaron Marquez, and Alberto Garcia.
Where: 39 Banks Ave, Asheville, NC 28801.
Status: Grand opening Friday, Oct. 31; two-level space with bar and rooftop. Family-friendly by day; Latin dance Thu–Sat nights.
Hours: Open daily; kitchen until 9 p.m., late-night slices during parties.
Highlights: Pizza, burgers, wings, plus birria/taco pizza specials.

Slava Cafe & Bakery — Asheville

Owner: Svitlana Eadie (with Vira Saray and Vita Kripak).
Where: 37 Wall St, Asheville, NC 28801.
Status: Aiming to open in about six weeks; counter-service with indoor/outdoor seating. Wed–Sun, 7 a.m.–3 p.m.
Highlights: Ukrainian dishes (borscht, cabbage rolls, plov, deruny) and sweets like syrnyky; GF/vegan options.

Booker T’s Café — Lexington

Owner: Brooke Bishop (with her mother, Tammy Cornell).
Where: 103 S Main St, Lexington, NC 27292.
Status: Rebuild underway; opening date TBA. Expanded seating up to ~120 and more TVs at the bar.
Menu Focus: Lunch and dinner on weekdays; big weekend brunch program. Weekday breakfast discontinued.

LRB Provisions — Durham

Owner/Chef: Amanda Orser.
Where: 2009 Guess Rd, Durham, NC 27705.
Status: Targeting mid-November; walk-up takeaway with limited outdoor seating. Lunch Thu–Mon, 11 a.m.–3 p.m.; closed Tue–Wed.
Highlights: House-baked breads; 780-lb smoker for pastrami and smoked fish; “Throwback Thursday” dogs; two opening desserts. Beer/wine to follow licensing.

Fresh Egg Breakfast & Burger — Mooresville

Co-owner: Brad Blumer.
Where: 631 Brawley School Rd #406, Mooresville, NC 28117.
Status: Soft opening the week of Oct. 27; grand opening Halloween weekend. All-day breakfast and burgers; ~85 seats + 10-seat bar.
Hours: Daily 7 a.m.–8 p.m.; Fri–Sat until 9 p.m.

Pin and Tee — Madison

Owner: Stephen Myers.
Where: 203 W Hunter St, Madison, NC 27025.
Status: Soft openings/private events in Nov.; public opening targeted for first or second week of January. Likely closed Tuesdays; focus Thu–Sun.
Highlights: 10,000 sq. ft. social venue with duckpin bowling, darts, simulators, patios; kitchen by chef Todd Dalton (Spare Time Grill). “Smack Down Sundays” family-style meals.
