New Prime Steakhouse to Open in Raleigh

RALEIGH, NC — Franko’s Prime, a classic American prime steakhouse with an emphasis on fresh-catch seafood, plans to open before the end of the month at 8460 Honeycutt Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615 in the Lafayette Village development, co-owner Justin Bee told Business Debut. The restaurant will serve dinner seven days a week.

What to Expect

Franko’s Prime is targeting a traditional steakhouse experience with a seafood-forward component. Bee said the team is bringing the concept to Raleigh by combining elements from its Franklinton restaurants, Franko’s Italian Steakhouse and Atlantic Prime Coastal Kitchen.

The dining room and patio will seat about 140 guests, Bee told Business Debut.

Menu and Vision

Bee described Franko’s Prime as “a classic American steakhouse with a really strong fresh catch seafood element,” told Business Debut. He said the menu is designed as a reference point from the group’s existing steak and seafood concepts in Franklinton, with a prime steakhouse foundation and a strong seafood offering.

“We’re essentially kind of just taking the best of both those restaurants and putting it out here in Lafayette Village,” Bee told Business Debut.

Opening Timeline

The restaurant expects to open before the end of the month, Bee told Business Debut. The team plans to open quietly at first, then announce more broadly after a few days of service.

“Our M.O. usually is just to unlock the door in the silent of the night,” Bee told Business Debut.

Hours

Dinner only, opening at 4 p.m. daily, seven days a week.
