Suya Bite, a new food truck founded by Martin, also known by his alias Mr. T, is preparing to bring the vibrant flavors of West African street food to Orlando. This exciting new venture will be located at 1023 West Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32809 and is aiming for a soft opening during the third week of October.

Specializing in authentic West African suya, Suya Bite will operate as a takeout-only food truck, focusing on simplicity and convenience for customers. “It’s not a seating location, just takeaway,” Mr. T told Business Debut. “We want to make it simple for customers to pick up their favorite African dishes.”

What to Expect

Suya Bite's menu is centered around suya—marinated and grilled kebabs—paired with sides like jollof rice, fried plantains, or roasted corn. Customers will have the choice of beef, lamb, or chicken, ensuring there's something to satisfy every palate. “Suya is one of the most loved street foods where I come from,” Mr. T shared. “It’s spicy, flavorful, and full of tradition.”

Ownership and Background

Operated by Martin and his brother under their shared business group, African Grade Music, Suya Bite is a continuation of their previous successful venture in Arizona. “This is our second time bringing suya to the community,” Mr. T explained. “We ran it before in Arizona, and now we’re excited to start again here in Orlando.”

Opening Timeline

The food truck is gearing up for a soft opening during the third week of October and will initially be open on Fridays and Saturdays from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. As Suya Bite gains popularity, there are plans to expand operation days and offer a delivery service.
